Sammy Studios had several games on display on the show room floor. Among these are the new Guilty Gear game, an Xbox Live game called Iron Phoenix and Spy Fiction -- a third-person action game with plenty of cool gadgets.

Sammy?s Fighter, Guilty Gear Isuka follows the style of its predecessor but with a four player action, a side-scrolling single player mode and an enhanced training mode. Guilty Gear Isuka is bound to surpass Guilty Gear X2 in leaps and bounds.

Isuka also boasts three new characters making the total number of playables up to 23. Guilty Gear also has a great character design and premise from the anime artist, Daisuke Ishiwatari.

Iron Phoenix is an Xbox Live exclusive that puts you in an arena with up to 15 other people where you hack and slash your way through everything in sight. You will be able to play as 10 different characters, whose animations were motion captured from world-renowned martial artists. You will also have your pick from nine different weapons to use in your melee combat. Also available in Iron Phoenix is the ability to string together combos across your team ? allowing for more devastating attacks and a stronger gameplay. Iron Phoenix also has a single player mode that will tell you the story behind the games mythical Chinese setting.

Spy Fiction puts you in the army boots of a Billy Bishop and Sheila Crawford, members of the Phantom Strike Force. The strike force is a surveillance unit of the Special Execution Agency. Though this game claims to be of the stealth action genre ? it is more action than stealth. You can sneak around and avoid enemies, but the game seems to encourage you to go in guns blazing more times than not.

Sammy also showed demos for their wild west first-person shooter, Darkwatch. For a preview of it, click here.
