Darkwatch is a strike force dedicated to eradicating the evil of the world. They have been around since the dawn of civilization and this game is the story of one of their members.
Jericho Cross is an outlaw gunslinger who was turned half-vampire and is the newest member of the group. Jericho now hunts the vampire who turned him in order to save his soul. His journey takes him through the demon infested American frontier.
Jericho will have many weapons at his disposal. Everything from pistols to shotguns to rocket launchers will be available for you to take out the baddies that get in your way. You will also find dynamite and barrels of TNT to cause major damage across a wide area. While riding on your horse, you can also cause it to rear up ? destroying the enemies before you.
Because he is half-vampire, Cross has some special powers in his arsenal as well. These include Blood Sight, which allows you to see the undead, and helps you aim your holy weapons. The world of Darkwatch is huge and uses dynamic AI for both the NPC?s and enemies. Every action you do (good or bad) affects the events of Darkwatch, making the non-linear story something you will want to play time and time again. Good or bad, the choice is up to you.
With extremely precise weapons damage, you can either shoot limbs off of the creatures of the night, or just the hats off of the local living. The destructible environments can be an asset, or if you aren?t careful ? hurt you.
