The Acclaim Lineup

DATE: -0/5-/2004
COMPANY: Acclaim
PRODUCT:

A noticeable difference in the Acclaim lineup was relatively few sequels. Most of these are original titles.

On the action/shooter front we have 100 Bullets, a game based on the comic of the same name which follows a man named Agent Graves as he works his way through a conspiracy. Using a unique type of gunplay called "R.A.G.E.", 100 Bullets looks to make things interesting. There's also Combat Elite: World War II Paratrooprs, which as an isometric shooter. Haven't seen many of those lately.

Based on the popular TV show, Alias is a game where the player must use stealth and silent moves to sneak through the twisting plot which utilizes official writers so the game remains close to the series. This one just released, so check out our review.

Sports fans will have fun with All-Star Baseball 2005. Racing fans will enjoy Juiced, a street racer featuring 50 licensed vehicles and thousands of authentic aftermarket parts. If you are into tweaking out your car, Juiced is the game for you. If RPG's are more your thing there's always The Bard's Tale, a third-generation action RPG in a classic medieval setting.

Wrapping things up, we have Showdown: Legends of Wrestling, the latest game in the Legends of Wrestling series. There's also The Red Star, an awesome comic-based action game that was some of the most fun I had during the three days at E3. I'll sign off by mentioning Worms Forts: Under Siege. It's a Worms game, need I say more?

Stick around for full reviews of all of these games as they release.
