Dubbed as the first "real fighting" game for the PlayStation 2, UFC: Throwdown builds upon the success of its predecessors in the series. Throwdown will boast 28 announced Ultimate Fighting Championship fighters, featuring 4 exclusive fighters for each of its release platforms (PS2 & GC; both June 2002).Fighting modes included in Throwdown are: UFC, Arcade, Career, Tournament, and Training. The Create-A-Fighter Mode has been improved upon, allowing players to customize many features such as the face, body, hairstyle, and clothes. Once created, you will have to train your fighter and improve his skills through various tournaments on the way to the UFC Championship.
