Ever wanted to make a game? Ever thought you could make a better RPG than what's currently on the shelves? Agetec offers PS2 gamers that chance with RPG Maker 2 for the PlayStation 2.

If you're familiar with Agetec's RPG Maker for the PlayStation, then you probably have some idea of what to expect from RPG Maker 2. Well, you can forget what you know and prepare to be amazed. RPG Maker 2 for the PlayStation 2 is much more detailed, with better graphics, USB Keyboard compatibility, much greater storage capabilities and two modes of creation (Beginner and Advanced). Oh, and did I mention we are talking 3D instead of 2D this go 'round?

Included in RPG Maker 2 is a Map Editor that allows manipulation of terrain, geographical elements and weather, a Building Editor that allows gamers to create buildings from scratch (with included textures and landscaping tools), and a Character Editor that has dozens of unique models ready to be modified and customized by the aspiring game-maker.

To build your RPG creation, you get to choose from a host of game elements including: over 100 characters, 120 monsters, 127 magic items, and dozens of sound FX and backgrounds. Each RPG game can store up to 1000 customized selections, thanks to the storage capability of the PS2.

Need an example to get you going? No problem! Included with RPG Maker 2 you'll find a complete mini-RPG designed by the production staff that made Dragon Warrior - and they made the mini-RPG using only the tools found in RPG Maker 2!

The gauntlet has been thrown down. The challenge has been made. The opportunity is yours. ...The time is now...
