Straight From The Center Of Middle-earth

The official game based on J.R.R. Tolkien's epic fantasy, Sierra's The Hobbit lets you assume the role of Bilbo Baggins. This third-person action/adventure title will allow you to travel through Middle-earth to take part in the historic Battle of the Five Armies. Throughout your journeys, you will meet many characters such as Gandalf, Thorin, and Gollum.

The Hobbit follows Tolkien's novel, taking you to massive levels in areas such as Rivendell, Mirkwood, and Laketown. Over thirty enemies will stand in your way during your epic quest. The Hobbit combines action, stealth, role-playing, and puzzle solving, along with a deep combat system, to give you a true sense of the world of Middle-earth.

The Hobbit's release date is TBA, but it will be available in 2003.
