It's Rayning, It's Pouring....

The version of BloodRayne shown at E3 was still very early, but held much promise. A little bit of Wolfenstien, Blood Omen, and The Matrix combined - this game has something to appeal to just about everyone. You play as Agent BloodRayne, a sexy, half-vampire agent out to stop Nazis. The mechanics in BloodRayne are very similar to those found in Max Payne; only with a bit more of a Matrix like twist.

After entering a Max Payne style of bullet-time, BloodRayne can cartwheel into a room on one hand, gunning victims down with her free hand. The bullet slowly flies towards, and strikes the target. Using the two silver swords attached to her arms, she can then swoop in on the enemy and finish off the job - all ending in a victory drink from the enemy's neck. I wasn't able to see much, but what I saw was cool.

Look for BloodRayne on all three systems later this year.
