Haven - The Gameplay Decathlon

If nothing else, Haven: Call Of The King by Midway will be anything but boring. By combining several different gameplay mechanics into a single adventure, Haven looks like it will be able to keep the interest of even the most attention-deficit of gamers.

Utilizing an extremely flexible 3-D engine, Midway hopes to capture the feeling of the most popular action movies by giving the player many different types of gameplay experiences. As Helene Sheeler of Midway puts it, 'It always has been said that you can?t combine excellent shooting, racing, flying, platforming and other gameplay mechanics and make a rock solid game. Haven: Call Of The King has done this on every level'.

Haven: Call Of The King comes to us from Traveller's Tales, the same group who brought us Toy Story 1 and 2, A Bug's Life and Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex. These folks know what they are doing in the way of platformers, so be looking for this one this Fall as it promises to have all the platforming goodness we have come to expect, along with a nice helping of shooting, racing, exploration and combat.
