Comic Relief From TDK

With comics turning into movies faster than you can say 'Stan Lee sold out,' we think it's high time gamers had a taste of the cross-over frenzy. And if you were thinking along the same lines, you'll be happy to hear what TDK Mediactive has in store for you. Aquaman, star of not only great comics but also a memorable spot among the 'Superfriends' show I remember being glued to the television for on many a day, is featured in his own game. The developer Lucky Chicken also worked on the recently released Casper the Friendly Ghost, so the flying engine was translated quite nicely into the swimming action of Aquaman. Some platforming and fighting action will be included in the 24 levels planned for this game, and being Aquaman, our hero will also be able to call in sea creatures to help him during battles. One of the cooler features is a form of vehicular combat in which Aquaman can jack a submersible and take it into battle. Everything looks nice on this one, with a few different character models representing Aquaman in both his younger and older forms. Still a long way to completion, but something to look forward to, true believers.
