Hitting the gridiron once again this fall is Sony's longest-running GameDay football franchise. With up to 8 players (using a MultiTap) and online support, NFL GameDay 2003 promises a true TV-style presentation, using a three-man commentator booth for the first time in sports video game history.

Broadcasting legend Dick Enberg and Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Fouts will be joined by Ian Eagle, as well as an on-field sideline reporter. All 32 NFL teams will be ready to play, including new stadiums in Houston, Chicago, New England, Seattle, Green Bay, and Detroit. GameDay 2003 will also support "AWOL" mode, which will allow computer-controlled players to kick in if/when players get booted during online play.

Look for NFL GameDay 2003 to hit store shelves in August 2002. Coincidentally, the PlayStation 2 Network Adapter is scheduled for release August 27th.
