Lucasarts' Taster

Lucasarts kicked off their E3 presentation with a real bang; not only were they showing off their wares - they're also celebrating their 20th anniversary of being in business.

At Lucasarts' press conference (if you will), clips were shown from several upcoming titles, both 'Star Wars and not Star Wars'. It seems that Lucasarts has decided to make fewer - but better Star Wars games and to work on more original properties, such as Full Throttle.

As would be expected, the game getting the largest response from the crowd was Star Wars Galaxies - a online massive multiplayer game being developed by Verant. (Think EverQuest set in the Star Wars Universe...) This game looks great. Stay tuned for more in depth information on this title.
