Hearing Good Things from Altec Lansing...

Altec Lansing, a leader in PC speakers for some time, is showing not only their PC speaker lines, but also some new console audio solutions. Ranging in price from as low as $49.00 for a Bass Amplification system to around $199.00 for a complete surround setup, Altec Lansing is providing high-quality audio solutions for gamers at price points that are hard to pass up.

Also showing at Altec Lansing was their retail display which allows gamers to contrast the output of typical television speakers with their speaker systems. As Altec Lansing's tag line so truly points out - Television Sound Sucks!

In addition to being of high sound quality and of quite rugged construction, the console speakers seem like they could be somewhat portable and could be packed to take your improved sound with you (to a friend's house, etc.) My contact at Altec Lansing indicated that several had expressed interest in a bag for carrying the speakers around and that they will be looking into the possibility of a custom carrying accessory.
