Yup - you knew it was coming, another Kingdom Hearts story, but I promise to keep this one short. As far as gameplay goes, not much has changed since my hands-on preview a few months ago. The game still plays and looks great, although I was assured the some of the camera angles are being looked at before the US release.
The biggest news regarding the game is the signing of some major voice talent. In addition to all of the original Disney character voices, Haley Joel Osment (that kid who sees dead people) will provide the voice for the main character Sora. Joining him will be Hayden Panettiere (Ally McBeal, Remember the Titans) as Kairi and 7th Heaven star David Gallagher as Riku. Rounding out the all-star cast are singers Mandy Moore and Lance Bass (NSYNC), as well as Sean Astin (Goonies, Rudy), David Boreanaz (Angel) and Christy Romano (Even Stevens, Kim Possible). Many of the film's original star talent are reprising their role for this project (I can only hope for Robin Williams to voice the Genie).
In addition to new vocal talent, Kingdom Hearts will hit US shores this fall with new, US release-only features. Pray it comes fast before I find something else to write about this game.
