Capcom Shows A Strong Line-up...

Capcom has a pretty good track record of well-beloved favorites, but they seem to be targeting some niche markets this E3. (And targeting them well. Very Well.)

I personally don't have an Xbox. I have nothing against the Xbox, I just never felt that the need for one outweighed the price. I didn't see any games for the Xbox that I simply couldn't live without. My wife is basically the same way with the Gamecube. Mario's cute, but eh. Again, it was a matter of there not being any 'gotta-have' 'killer-apps' out there. Capcom's changed all that - for both of us.

As a Mech lover, I will be going out and picking up an Xbox so I can play Steel Batallions, the super-cool, ultra-immersive mech game that is sold with what is basically a simulator-type conroller. Forty glorious controls that all actually do something. (Yum!) My wife, on the other hand, will be purchasing a Gamecube. She has to - Resident Evil Zero demands it. To this point, there's not really anything else we're likely to run out and pick up for either system, but in just two games, Capcom's managed to basically sell two consoles. I look forward to seeing what they have to offer in the future...

There's some sort of unidentifiable blurring in a couple of the tapes, but no sign of a 'elite team' to be found. I think all that cr*p about a 'Game Vortex' and some 'Team PS2' is some punk kids on our radio frequency. If you ask me, we oughtta..."
