NubyTech has concentrated its offerings in a single focus: licensed and collectible controllers. The three licenses that NubyTech was showing products for at E3 2005 were Frogger, Resident Evil and, of course, Street Fighter.

NubyTech's Frogger controller is cute, features graphics from the new Frogger game on the controller's face, and comes in blister packaging with a plastic cover that it slides into that is designed to look like a log with a large knot hole (through which you can view the controller). Okay, too cute. Moving on.

For you Resident Evil fans out there, NubyTech has some collectible chainsaw-shaped controllers with display stands. Each one is individually and uniquely blood (paint) spattered, so each one is a one-of-a-kind collectible. Additionally, they are a limited run and are numbered.

The Street Fighter license received more attention, possibly due to the fact that Street Fighter is celebrating its 15th anniversary. They have not one, not two, but three different collectible controllers. There are Xbox controllers, PS2 wireless controllers and an arcade stick that will work for both Xbox and PS2. The arcade controller is large, sturdy and looks like someone took a chainsaw (controller?) to a Street Fighter arcade unit and walked away with the controlling bits. All of the Street Fighter 15th anniversary products are designed with Street Fighter fans and collectors in mind.
