Returning to E3 this year is the action/adventure game that will kick off a fast-paced trilogy. Advent Rising takes place in the distant future where there is a myth that an advanced and highly intelligent race shall bring the galaxy from evil. This race is known simply as Humans. Advent Rising's story was written by master Sci-Fi writer Orson Scott Card. Your character will develop amazing super-human powers including energy blasts, levitation and energy shields. Both versions (Xbox and PC) will support downloadable content and use the next-generation Unreal Engine.

The futuristic action-filled freedom fighter from MTV, Aeon Flux, is taking to the interactive media. 400 years from now, Aeon is the top underground operative of a group who is fighting an evil government regime. The game is based off of the characters and story from the classic MTV series and the upcoming movie. Oscar winning actress Charlize Theron?s voice and likeness were used for the game.

JAWS Unleashed is the first JAWS games to give you control of the great white himself. Recreate the action of the hit movies from the sharks unique perspective. As one of the great predators of the sea, you have been attracted to the increase in food (I mean people) that has been gathering around Amity Island. Now a marine biologist and a shark hunter seek to keep you from disrupting the island's 4th of July celebration. You will swim through 10 different, large and destructible levels, destroy people, vehicles and structures with your powerful body and teeth. Bosses include giant squids, killer whales and large boats. Appaloosa Interactive (creator of the renowned Ecco the Dolphin series) is the dev team responsible for giving the underwater terror the new look, feel and "Shark Vision". Look for the latest JAWS game to hit the shelves in August.

Unleashed isn't the only game coming from Majesco that's based off of a classic 1970's movie. Scorsese's Taxi Driver takes the wheel on the Xbox and PS2 this Spring. The film-noir game gives you control of war-vet Travis Bickle as he decides to clean the streets himself. The anti-hero vigilantly will go through both vehicular and on-foot missions. Weapons include Bickle's Colt .25 (you remember, the guns he hid up his sleeves), .44 Magnum, Mac 10, Shotgun and M-16 with duel weapon controls and a large array of finishing moves, all taking place in a 1970's New York City. Now you can go through the events of the classic movie like never before.

Majesco is also getting ready to publish a video game for the cartoon series Teen Titans. Take control of Beast Boy, Robin, Cyborg, Starfire and Raven as they take on Slade, Cinderblock, Jinx, Gizmo, Mammoth and more. Get four people together and battle against the forces of evil at the same time across 15 missions and 6 showdowns.

This year's lineup consists of plenty of games based off of the best authors, movies and TV series that are out in the market right now. If these games are going to be half as good as the medias that inspired them, then all of these titles are definitely ones to look out for.
