Sony's ever popular EyeToy peripheral is about to be graced with not only a sequel to the popular EyeToy Play, but also two brand new games.

EyeToy Play 2 is the sequel to the wonderfully mindless entertainment that EyeToy Play brought us. You'll get loads more games, plus some new treats as well. 12 new games, plus a collection of 75 bonus games literally bring you into the action. The new feature is SpyToy, where players can track trespassers by movement and noise. Can't be in your room to watch your stuff? Let your EyeToy do it.

Next up is EyeToy Chat, a video-phone application for your PS2! Have a friend that lives across town or across the world? Talk face-to-face with them via your EyeToy. You'll be able to send, receive, and store video-mail and play classic mini-games such as Naval War, Chess and Checkers. And a full set of parental controls ensures that your child will be safe when using the EyeToy Chat. Using video, voice and text chat, players can converse with up to 255 others in text chat, 15 others in voice chat and one-on-one in video chat. Who says video games don't bring families together.

Last, but not least, is EyeToy Kinetic, designed to get you movin'. It's a fitness program for your EyeToy camera. You'll get a personal trainer and embark on a 12-week fitness program comprised of 4 Zones of Discipline: Cardio, Combat, Toning and Mind & Body. Exercises are inspired by Aerobics, Capoeira, Kick Boxing, Yoga and Tai Chi and you'll have the ability to train in 4 varied areas such as Dojo, Dance Studio, Zen Garden and Loft. Get in shape overall or target specific areas, its all up to you. Hopefully, EyeToy Kinetic can put to rest the notion that all gamers are couch potatoes.

EyeToy Chat and Play 2 hit the shelves this summer, with Kinetic arriving this fall.
