Activision not only had two new games to show off for their Tony Hawk line, but they also set up a half-pipe in their booth and had skateboarders and BMX'ers entertaining the crowds as they traveled through South Hall.

Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam is a Nintendo only title with versions coming out not only for the Wii, but also the GBA and DS. In this extreme sports game, you can play as Tony Hawk or one of nine other characters as you race down steep slopes while pulling off dozens of tricks. Players will be able to race down some of the steepest landscapes from around the world. Imagine grinding down the streets of San Francisco or taking on the hills of Machu Picchu and Hong Kong.

For the Wii, Downhill Jam will have the players holding the controller sideways and tilting it left or right to adjust the skateboards balance, while the DS version of the game will display your downhill progress on the bottom screen in the form of a map.

The other Tony Hawk game is designed for not only the PS3 and Xbox 360, but also the PS2 and PSP. Tony Hawk's Project 8 will use ultra-realistic graphics and enhanced physics to complement reportedly very responsive controls in order to give you more than just a skating game, but a skateboarding simulation.

Both games are planned for release this Fall.
