Imagine PS2, but in 3D

In Kentia Hall, I happened upon a company named Splitfish. This name was, presumably, based on their selection of two-piece controllers. While these are cool, the item that caught my attention is the eyeFX 3D. This device connects in between the controller and the PS2 and uses a pair of glasses with a alternating shutter effect to display existing off-the-shelf PS2 games in 3D.

Some games work better than others, but you can simply check for your favorite games at the Splitfish website to see a list of games that are certified by Splitfish to work with the eyeFX 3D system. Among those that are listed in the "Best" compatibility category are: 007: Agent Under Fire, Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies, Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War, Aero Elite: Combat Academy, Colosseum: Road To Freedom, DNA: Dark Native Apostle, DropShip: United Peace Force, Half-Life, Kill Switch, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter, Thunder Strike: Operation Phoenix, Time Splitters, Time Splitters 2, Time Splitters: Perfect World and Top Gun: Combat Zone.

I tried the game out with one of the flight games at E3, and it was very impressive. I look forward to providing an in-depth review when I get one of these in-house for some hands-on testing.
