If anyone doubts the viability of the PS2 as a system that can still hold its own, behold God of War II, set to release next Spring. This game kicks so much ass that it was deserving of its own article, so get the scoop here.

ATV Offroad Fury 4 brings another installment of offroad racing action, only this time, in addition to ATVs, you can race MX BIkes, Buggies and Trophy Trucks. There's also a story mode allowing you to take a rookie rider up through the ranks of a professional racer. Look for cross compatibility with the PSP version ATV Offroad Fury Pro in the form of vehicle exchanges and upgrades, shared online communities, and the ability to share user-created circuits. Up to 8 players will be able to compete and a track editor will be included. It hits the stores this September.

NBA '07 is back with "The Life: Volume 2", this time following the life and times of the league's star player. Look for improved core gameplay elements and new features such as the Smart Shot Indicator, a visual gauge of the impact defense has on shot opportunities.

A new property is Rogue Galaxy, an action RPG being developed by Level 5. Players can control up to three characters at a time, have access to multiple side-quests and can build their own custom weaponry in their factory. This one is scheduled for October.

Lastly is SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Combined Assault, where players will be able to jump back into previously completed tactical missions and have some "Instant Action" as a stand-alone mission with 4 player co-op play. Improved enemy behavior, new weapons and vehicles are here, as well as crosstalk functionality with SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 2 on the PSP means unlocking special features for each game.
