Evidently, the booth babes that are flaunted around trade shows live in the area and work the conventions that are held in the convention center. That means that when E3's powers-that-be attempt to ban booth babes, they not only ruin a lot of geeks' chances of actually seeing a live, scantily clad woman - they also are taking away the girls' livelihoods.
(Hmm, considering the fact that they were actually outside of the convention center, they may have attracted more attention if they had dressed a little more provocatively.)
As the protesters pointed out - there was no ban on violence in games and violence has to be worse than sex in anyone's book, right?
Maybe not in the messed up world we live in. I leave you with this thought... A lot of people are taken out of this world each year by violence, while none of us would be here if it weren't for sex...
