THQ showed off several of their licensed games at this year's E3. One of these games is based on the new Disney/Pixar movie, while the others are from THQ's long-standing Nickelodeon line.

Disney/Pixar's Cars is based on the new CG movie and follows the movie's plot. The game is a story-based racing adventure that should touch on all of the major events from the feature film. Cars will contain over 10 playable characters and contains an open world environment with more than 30 races. The game also features the vocal talents from the movie, including actors like Owen Wilson and Paul Newman. Cars will come out on the PS2, GBA, Nintendo DS, GameCube, PC and PSP this Summer.

Barnyard is another movie licence, this one based off of the new Nickelodeon film. This game lets you control the newest cow on the farm as you go around the open world trying to make allegiances and friends. Play through mini-games and complete missions in order to get other barnyard animals to like you. This game is coming out for the GameBoy Advance, GameCube, PC and PS2.

Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island will have you using up to 10 characters from various Nicktoons worlds in order to save paradise. An evil spirit from Danny Phantom's Ghost Zone plans to destroy Volcano Island. Can the heroes of Spongebob Squarepants, The Fairly Odd Parents, Jimmy Neutron and Danny Phantom stop this new menace. The game features 1 - 2 player gameplay and vast areas of Vortex Island to explore. This new Nicktoon title will come out this Fall for the PS2, GBA, DS and GameCube.

Spongebob Squarepants: Creature from the Krusty Krab is a new addition to the successful line of games based on the porous character from Bikini Bottom. In this latest installment, players will be able to use five new mechanics like rampaging, flying, skydiving, chase and hot rod racing. The new graphical structure will give the game an overall darker look.

And now the title that I am most anxious to see come out, Avatar: The Last Airbender. This game follows Aang on his journey to master the four elements. Along the way Aang, Katara, Haru and Sokka will face off against the invading Fire Nation and their army of firebenders. In this game, you will get to travel to all parts of the world, from the North and South Poles, to the Earth Nation's lands and even into the depths of the Fire Nation. Characters will not only be able to learn very unique martial arts styles, but also learn to master the four types of bending: Airbending, Firebending, Waterbending and Earthbending.
