German publisher DTP Entertainment showed off two action games at this year's E3, one of which is based off of a classic pen and paper RPG while the other was a third person shooter taking place during the second World War.

Drakensang is based on the popular pen and paper RPG, Dark Eye. This is the first PC adaptation of this epic RPG in 10 years and it lets players come back to the land of Aventuria in a whole new way. From what I saw at E3, everything from the rolling hills to the lakeside grasses looked stunning. Drakensang will allow players to form parties of up to five characters of many different races and classes based on the Dark Eye's rule book. Drakensang is planned for release at the end of 2007.

DTP was also showing off a third person shooter called Sabotage. This game puts you in control of a MI6 agent in 1943 during WWII. Violette Summer will have to sneak her way through many engagement areas like Germany, France and Poland and she will have to employ a wide variety of weaponry in order to complete her mission. The game's muted and almost sepiatone color scheme gives it an interesting feel, almost as if you are looking at old WWII photographs. This title is expected to come out in Q4 of this year.
