Vivendi showed off two games that will appear on the Windows PC at this year's E3.

World In Conflict is a strategy game with completely destructible 3D battlefields, aggressive, team-based multiplayer action and a focus on fast, hard-hitting battles. This game takes you to a world where the Berlin Wall never fell and now the USSR is starting to invade Europe. Set in 1989, players take over as a field commander who must keep the communists at bay as Russia not only tries to take over lands on the other side of the Atlantic, but America as well. As the commander, you will guide the era's most powerful war machines in an attempt to retake the already surrendered parts of the country. The game's scenario and story are based on the best selling Cold War authority and author Larry Bond.

World In Conflict uses completly destructible battle fields, everything from buildings to forests and cars will show damage and crumble under the might of the various war instruments that will tear through the land. And in multiplayer mode, players can choose to be one of four different types of units: Infantry, Armor, Support Forces, or Aerial specialists. Look for this strategy game to come out in the Spring of 2007.

VU's other PC game is an FPS called TimeShift. This game, like a couple before it, gives you the ability to stop, slow and reverse time. Your character is a famous test pilot who has recentally retired. As Colonel Michael Swift, you are recruited for one more test, a time control device. Being dubbed the world's first "Chrononaut", Swift accidentally alters the time line and returns to a world that is nothing like what he knew.

Instead of the democratic government he knew and worked with, his country is now a fascist nightmare and he has been labeled an enemy of the state. With his Quantum Suit, Swift must evade the government and try to put right what once went wrong.

Multiplayer mode will also offer unusual gameplay scenarios, but exactly how the quantum capabilities of your character will work in a multiplayer arena have yet to be revealed.
