While at eFocus this year, we got the opportunity to speak with the folks at Digital Praise. Digital Praise is set to bring Christian themed games to kids, while keeping them fun and exciting.

We saw Camping the Bug-a-Boo Way, a PC game based on Max Lucado's book and video series. In the game, Hermie, Wormie and his gang of garden friends partake in basic educational lessons focusing on pre-phonics, problem solving, sorting, fine motor coordination, creative expression and nature education, all the while learning about the importance of friendship and tolerance for individuals' differences. The graphics appear to have high production quality and remind me of something from Pixar. Camping the Bug-a-Boo Way looks like a cute and engaging way to get kids to not only grow educationally, but also personally and spiritually.

Solomon Says Bible Trivia: Volume One is a PC Bible trivia game. Now, I know what you are thing and no, it is not like the Bible Trivia game we reviewed last year by Crave. I actually played a little bit of this one and the production quality seems a good bit higher. The questions were fairly tough too. There are 500 trivia questions and 3 levels of difficulty and the twist is that you can also play it using Digital Praise's dance pad to use your feet to answer those questions. Again, I'd hook it to the TV for this. Knowledge and exercise all wrapped up into one!

Dance Praise is a PC dancing game where players can get down to the tunes of Contemporary Christian popular artists. There are over 50 songs by artists such as Audio Adrenaline, 4th Avenue Jones, DJ Maj, Out of Eden, Sanctus Real, Steven Curtis Chapman, tobyMac, and ZOEgirl and you can play on Dance Mode, Arcade Mode, Exercise Mode and ShadowDance Mode, so there's a good mix to choose from here. The USB dance pad that comes with the game plugs into your USB port on your PC or Mac. Or hook up an Svideo cable and jack it straight into your TV so as not to crowd your computer desk with dancers.

We'll keep you posted on how these games turn out when we get review copies.
