One of the games Trisynergy was showing at E3 was The Secrets of Da Vinci: The Forbidden Manuscript, a point and click adventure which takes place in the final home of Da Vinci, Le Chateau Du Clos Luce. Nobilis, the developers of the Atlantis series and of this game, went to great lengths to recreate Clos Luce in loving detail, so expect to see the manor just as it would have looked had Da Vinci himself walked through the halls.
The game takes place in 1522, some time after Da Vinci's death. You will be searching for a lost manuscript of Da Vinci's, located somewhere in the famed chateau. You'll encounter many puzzles inspired by the works of Da Vinci, such as hidden messages that are written backwards. You'll also have a good and evil meter, so depending on how you handle situations, you will bring about one of four different endings. This looks like a much deeper experience than a simple cash-in on the current Da Vinci rage, so adventure fans should be on the lookout for this one soon.
Next up was Wings of Power II: WWII Fighters, an expansion pack for MS Flight Sim 10, which is not yet out. Expect highly detailed and historically accurate planes from the World War Two era on this one. It's a historical flight sim - what more can I say? If you are a fan and go for intense attention to detail and a jump back into history, check this one out.
Last up was Dirt, which we reported on last year under the name Origin of the Species. This is a PC action/adventure with RPG elements from Nu Generation, which is comprised of some of the original Tomb Raider developers. Lots of guns, special moves, mutants and a healthy dose of booty courtesy of the heroine of the game. She also sports a somewhat interactive teddy bear backpack. Time will tell how this one plays out.
Stay tuned as we'll have full reviews as these titles release.
