Drawn to Life is a unique little DS game much like Magic Pengel, if you remember that title. As the story goes, the Raposes' village is being plagued by a blanket of darkness that has taken the sun, moon and stars, among other things. A hero must arise to save the village from dying and the player is tasked with creating this hero. You'll use your stylus to draw your hero, either from scratch, or you can choose from one of the pre-made heroes, or you can modify a pre-made hero. Then, you'll be amazed as your hero starts walking around the game. He'll embark on his journey to save the village, dispatching enemies and solving puzzles along the way in true platformer style, complete with running, jumping, swimming, smashing and flying his way through the levels.

In the demo I saw, our hero came to an impassable area that required that he get higher than he could jump. So with the handy stylus, the developer drew a cloud, a green one with lavender accents, mind you, and our hero floated up to where he needed to be. What's more, than same cloud appeared later on numerous times in the level, so it's this persistence that makes Drawn to Life so special. During the game, you'll be tasked with drawing multiple items such as tools, weapons, plants, animals and many more things in the game. You'll be able to let your imagination run wild and then see your creations in action in 16 levels with 50 stages, in 4 worlds, with over 15 hours of gameplay. You can trade your drawings wirelessly with friends and trade heroes, accessories and village items, and there will be an item shop where you can purchase combat moves, drawings and music. A wonderful world, mostly of your creation, awaits you in Drawn To Life. Ger drawn in this Fall.
