Capcom's latest new IP, Zach & Wiki, their first title to be developed exclusively for the Nintendo Wii, aims to give adventure gamers something fresh, new and highly interactive this Fall. Zach & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure finds our heroes, Zach and Wiki, tasked with the job of putting famed pirate Barbaros back together. Barbaros, now dead and merely a talking skull found by pirate apprentice Zach, has been placed under a curse and as such, he is scattered all about the world in many different pieces. He promises Zach his vast fortune, once hidden by him on a mysterious island back when he was alive, if Zach can help him come back together and regain his former glory. In doing so, Zach will then become the greatest living pirate. Can the heroes-in-training do it?

Players will use the Wii-mote in many different ways such as turning keys to open doors, manipulating tools and also, you simply point and click to have Zach and Wiki go in the direction you want to progress. It's all very intuitive. You'll face multiple puzzles across seven themed areas like a jungle, ice temple, volcanic caves and more, with 80+ objects to manipulate, 35+ enemies to encounter, 500+ items to find and collect, giving players 40+ hours of gameplay. Whew! And did I mention it's a really pretty game? The environments are bright and colorful and are handled in a way that you can use your Wii-mote to pan back and see the entire area, so you'll know what you need to do and where you need to go.

Zach & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure hits stores this October and definitely looks like something that will appeal to adventure gamers of all ages who are looking for something different for their Wii.
