Majesco Entertainment showed off what it has in the works for the Nintendo DS in the upcoming year. The company’s four titles cover a wide range of genres including RPG, sim, mini-games and puzzles.

AWAY Shuffle Dungeon draws on the talents of RPG creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, character designer Naoto Oshima and composer Nobuo Uematsu to create a unique looking handheld RPG. In AWAY, you will control Sword, the only person living in Webb Village, a former great town. Sword will travel across the land rescuing kidnapped villagers from underground dungeons, use magical “Fupongs” and uncover treasures. AWAY Shuffle Dungeon is scheduled for this Fall.

Wonder World Amusement Park lets you play various midway-esque games that you would find in an untold number of parks and carnivals around the country. Players will use the touch screen to toss, drive, shoot, whack, fish and spin in 30 different mini-games. These games appear in six themed zones called Carnival, Spookyville, Prehistoric, Pirate, Fairy Tale and Space. Six rides will also be unlockable and players can go up against friends in a local Wi-Fi mode. Wonder World Amusement Park will come out during the Holiday Season. We are currently reviewing the Wii version of this game, so stay tuned for that review.

Babysitting Mania takes the online casual game of the same name and puts it in your pocket. Players will progress through over 100 levels of fast-paced, overlapping challenges as they feed, entertain and clean up after tons of kids in 20 households. The DS’ touch screen will be used to manage every aspect of the house with speed and precision to do everything from sending kids to timeout and overseeing birthday parties. Expect to see Babysitting Mania come out in September.

Two months later, Majesco will release Marker Man Adventures, a physics-based puzzle game that will have you drawing simple machines and tools for your stick figure to use in order to bring his dog, Doodle, home. This game will have power-ups, hidden areas and many different logic puzzles.
