Nintendo’s E3 Media Briefing wasn’t the most… well, let’s say action-packed of events, but there were a few nuggets of excitement, including the official announcement of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the DS.
Like most things coming from Rockstar, details are still being kept under wraps. What has been revealed is that the game will feature a custom engine developed for the DS and is being produced by Rockstar Leeds in conjunction with Rockstar North. Chinatown Wars is an original entry into the GTA universe and will involve the Triad crime syndicate. The game will also make use of the DS’s functions, including using the stylus for navigation.
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will be available this winter. |
