At E3 2008, Majesco decided to show off some of their upcoming Wii casual games that consists of everything from hit sequels to ports to brand new IPs.

Major Minor’s Majestic March brings back the developers of the classic PSOne game, PaRappa the Rapper in an all new style of rhythm game. Using the Wii-mote as a baton, players will control bandleader Major Minor in order to help keep the tempo of the music. At first glance, this game reminds me of one of the Wii’s demos back when it was announced. In that game, you controlled an orchestra as they played some classic Zelda tunes. Here, you will be tapping your stick to the tunes of game designer and multimedia musician Masaya Matsuura to the visuals of New York artist Rodney Alan Greenblat. Players will be able to add up to 15 different instruments to their dynamic procession including brass, woodwinds and percussions.

In Our House, players will be able to decorate and remodel their homes into unique customized creations. You will use the controller as if it were various tools like saws, hammers and paint. You will even have to lay down some tile. The game will also support four-player competitions called “build-offs” and share their creations over the WiiConnect25 community.

Two returning licenses include the sequel to Majesco’s hit, Cooking Mama called Cooking Mama World Kitchen. This new release will include all new 3D graphics, new recipes from parfait to shrimp au gratin. The kitchen mini-games and gameplay modes are also all new, so existing fans will find this game even more entertaining.

Majesco is also bringing their DS game, Zoo Hospital to the Wii in the first Vet-based game to make it onto the system. Players will use the Wii-mote in surgical procedures to eliminate parasitic pests, perform dentistry and remove foreign bodies like gallstones. You will have to work on 48 zoo mammals, reptiles and birds in order to make it past this game’s challenges. And like the DS version, keeping your animals calm while working on them by petting them is just as important as performing the operations at hand.

Look for Major Minor and Cooking Mama to hit shelves this Holiday season, while Zoo Hospital will come out in September and Our House is scheduled for early 2009.
