This year at E3, Legacy Interactive was showing a few familiar titles being brought to new platforms, plus a total surprise.

Pet Pals: New Leash on Life, previously released on the PC, is being ported to the DS. Now, little aspiring vets can get their practice in on the go. The cases all involve pets at a rescue center, so your goal is not just to patch up their wounds, but also to get them ready to be adopted by training and love. As before, a portion of the proceeds goes to the Humane Society, which I think is great. As you would expect, the mouse moves have been converted to the stylus for use on the DS. Look for Pet Pals: New Leash on Life for the DS this fall.

The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes, earlier released on PC, is now taking center stage on the Wii. This adventure game will having you scouring over 40 locations in Victorian London to solve 16 crimes. Along the way, you'll be solving puzzles, using your magnifying glass to look for hidden objects, and comparing scenes to find the differences. Fans of adventure games and hidden object games will get their chance to play this game on the Wii this holiday season.

New titles include Emergency Room: Real Life Rescues for the DS which is an EMS simulation. Here, you'll take the role of a paramedic, rescuing people and saving their lives. There will be a number of mini-games for you to perform, along with plenty of challenging situations. But don't worry - you won't be tasked with driving to the scene. Just handling things once you get there. Look for this title very soon!

Murder, She Wrote - now there's a title I haven't heard of in a while. But yes, Legacy is making the series into a light adventure game/hidden object game. Players will take on 5 new mysteries in Cabot Cove, Maine as the grey-haired detective and crime writer, Jessica Fletcher. Mysteries will take players from Maine to Vermont and even to England and will bring back familiar faces from the show including Dr. Seth Hazlitt and Sheriff Mort Metzger. While it's definitely an unlikely license, it might make for an interesting hidden object game. Only time will tell.

And finally, the best surprise of all - House, M.D. the game! Coming out for both the PC and the DS, players will get to step into the shoes and cane of everyone's favorite cynical doctor, Dr. Gregory House. 5 unique cases will have the team scrambling to figure out just what is going on and players will also get the opportunity to play as Dr. Taub and Dr. Hadley. We've been assured that Legacy has licensed the likeness of Hugh Laurie as House, so he will look spot-on. Here's to hoping they get the voice too!
