One of Nintendo's odder titles to come out in 2007 was the diving simulation title, Endless Ocean. Well, early next year, they are releasing Endless Ocean 2, which will add whole new depths to this license.

Where the first game's focus was simply exploring the different environments and examining the various species of the ocean, this new game will add features like being able to save sick or injured animals, training dolphins and even an optional storyline where your character tries to solve one of the many mysteries of the seas.

As you explore the oceans from around the world, you will not only learn about the habitats and fish that live in them, but you can also collect and sell salvageable items to decorate reefs (for attracting fish), or even your personal in-game aquariums. But it isn't all about simple exploration and collection either. As you learn about different sea life, you can investigate individual fish or mammals to see if they are sick. If so, you can use a tool to heal them with a quick zap of "healing energy."

Endless Ocean 2 will also let players swim together and talk to each other (with the use of Wii Speak, of course), so you and your friends can explore the underwater world together over the Internet.
