Imagine entering an online racing contest with hosted by your favorite energy drink company, oh, I don't know... let's say NOS Energy Drink. Now, imagine how awesome it would be to be a finalist in that competition and win airfare and a pass to E3 2010! That is ridiculous, right?

Well, unknown to these winners until their arrival at E3, they weren't merely playing for a chance to go to E3. They were vying for the keys of a tricked-out custom Chris Forsberg NOS 370z sports car. Five fly in, but only four fly out... One's in for the ride of his life.

That one was none other than Robert Waddell, a devoted husband who, even while surrounded by a bevy of beverage beauties could only think of calling his wife to tell her the news. Let me tell you, folks, I was there when he won the car and, quite frankly, he was in shock.

Just between you, me and anyone who reads this, I slipped him my business card, congratulated him and asked him to take pictures on the drive home, if he drove it home, and to email me when the shock wore off, so we could interview him. Chances are, though, when he finds my card in his wallet later, he might not remember me at all. He seemed like he was having a hard time taking it all in. Poor guy, eh?

Well, regardless of the rest of it, congratulations again, Robert Waddell, on your victory.

So... What other energy drink is going to give away a tricked out sports car? Anybody? Stick or automatic. No, really... I'm fine with either...
