Rock Band 3 will ship with 83 songs. We haven't found a complete track list, but some songs have been announced by MTV and we have those listed, below.

Additionally, Rock Band 3 will be compatible with the full catalog of Rock Band branded DLC content songs, which was at 1500 as of this writing, and expected to be 2000 songs by Rock Band 3's launch. With such a plethora of songs, it can be difficult to find the songs you want to play. Rock Band 3 addresses this issue by including Filtering options in the song select menu. Now, you can filter songs by a wide variety of stats, such as difficulty, number of voice parts, decade, song length, and even a stat you can assign for yourself - ratings (on a scale of 0-5, measured in "lighters"). This way, you can rate songs as you play them and then later, filter your songs and select only 5-lighter selections, if you like. To further simplify the chore of selecting songs to play, they have also introduced persistable set lists. You can now create a set list and save it, then simply select your set list and start playing when you want to play that set list again. You can then share these set lists with others online, as well.

I, for one, am looking forward to being able to build my own set lists and quickly jump into them. More info on the yet-to-be-revealed songs when they're announced.
