New Battle Lines Are Drawn With New Battlefield Expansion

If you are still playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2, don’t trade it in yet! Developer DICE and EA have announced a new digital expansion pack for their hit war-simulator which will prolong the enjoyment and addictiveness of blowing up enemy tanks full of troops.

Entitled Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam, the series is heading back to familiar, and hostile, territory in the Vietnamese military theater. Running on the same Frostbite engine, players can expect the same high standards in graphics and gameplay found in the current Bad Company 2 to transfer over to Vietnam.

The expansion will include new weapons, vehicles, unlocks, awards, achievements and trophies, and four new maps to be played in Conquest or Rush Mode. Currently, the expansion is in development for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. The Xbox 360 version will be available first during the Winter, while the other two systems will be available soon thereafter.

It is probably also safe to assume that this will be a part of EA’s new “Gun Club” that I reported on earlier this week. Keep checking back with us for more details about pricing and release as soon as they become available.
