Is It Wheel? Or Is It Memorex?

Memorex has been around for quite some time and has established itself in the minds and hearts of the American public. They have worked hard to reinforce their corporate persona as a family-friendly brand. Since Nintendo's Wii console has become such a family-oriented system with astounding approachability for both young and old, Memorex saw a possibility to reach out to families who enjoy gaming together on the Wii with some creatively inspired Wii-compatible products that live up to the Memorex name.

One such product is Memorex's Racing Wheel. This wheel is an accessory which the Wii-mote clips into, like most other similar wheel products from other companies. The stand-out feature of the Memorex Racing Wheel, however, is that it can be used with or without the MotionPlus sensor attachment. Since a Wii-mote simply snaps into the Racing Wheel and the MotionPlus sensor changes the length of the Wii-mote, Memorex had to come up with a solution to achieve this feat. Their solution was to add a special compartment in the wheel that can hold the MotionPlus sensor, if desired. This allows the Racing Wheel to remain a smaller size and removes any worries associated with the varying form factor of the Wii-mote with (or without) the MotionPlus attached.

The Racing Wheel features non-slip rubberized grips and is intended for ages 6 and up.
