Darksiders II Collector's Edition Announced

With Darksiders II coming out soon, many gamers might be trying to decide exactly which version they are going to buy. It seems that THQ has decided to release three different versions of Darksiders II, each one stuffed with more goodies than the previous.

The normal release contains just the game in all of its apocalyptic goodness. You will get to play as Death at the same time as War's adventure in the previous game, but if you want a bit more, then you might be interested in the Limited Edition release.

In this version, players will get free access to the "Arguls Tomb" expansion DLC that will be available about a month after the game's release this August. This DLC will add a new dungeon to explore.

The largest version of Darksiders II, the Collector's Edition, contains an art book, a digital version of the game's soundtrack, an exclusive weapon and armor set and all of the perks found in the Limited Edition version of the game. All that being said, probably the most appealing addition to this version to any collector out there is a life-sized replica of Death's mask, a stunning piece of artwork for fans of the game.

Darksiders II is due to be released for the PS3, 360, PC and eventually the Wii U.
