Shake It Eight Ways - But Only On Xbox One

Harmonix has announced that its new upcoming installation of Dance Central: Dance Central Spotlight, will be exclusively available as a digital download on Xbox One this September.

According to Harmonix, Dance Central Spotlight will feature "authentic dance routines, accurate body tracking using Kinect One, and chart-topping music, with even more variety and player choice" than previous games in the series.

The game starts you off with just 10 songs, but you can purchase additional songs to customize your personal party soundtrack, selecting from 50 chart-topping hits available at launch and additional hit songs to be released weekly.

Songs Announced So Far...

  • Counting Stars - OneRepublic
  • Happy - Pharrell Williams
  • Show Me - Kid Ink ft. Chris Brown
  • Talk Dirty - Jason Derulo ft. 2 Chainz
  • Wake Me Up - Avicii

Ever like a song, but hated the dance routine? Dance Central Spotlight gives you an out, with eight different dance routines to choose from per song. There is even a voice command activated "Practice That" Mode that allows you to practice a certain part in Rehearsal Mode with a real-time mirrored image of yourself so you can scrutinize - and improve - your choreography. Or, you can use the Fitness Mode to focus on Strength and Cardio.
