Legendary, brought to use by GameCock, throws you into a world where the paranormal world has been thrown into ours.

As a small-time crook, you are hired to steal Pandora's Box from a local museum, but when you go to grab it, you accidently open it and unleash everything from werewolves to griffins to unknown evils. You quickly find out that the organization that hired you to steal the legendary box hoped that you would end up opening it and releasing these evils on the world.

Enter a new secret organization who claims to be fighting your former employers and recruit you into their fight, after all, you did cause this problem. So now you will run around the city facing off against both the evil organization and the hordes of creatures, but you will at least have some A.I.-controlled good guys running around with you, plus it seems like the werewolves and other creatures don't like any humans (no matter what side they are on), so you can try and work some food-chain goodness in your favor.

In the demo that I got to play, there was a point where I got into a sniping position that allowed me to shoot the lock off of a cage holding a werewolf. Once the door was open, that creature tore through the group of bad guys and all I had to deal with was that lone wolf. Unfortunately, they do take quite a few hits before they go down and are very regular enemies. The unnerving thing about these werewolves is that they are smart. In my brief fights with them, I saw them climb up buildings and flank me, and when there are multiple werewolves in the area, the problems get exponentially worse.

Legendary definitely looks like it will be a solid shooter with a wide variety of enemies to keep you on your toes. If you are into otherworldly shooting fun, then keep an eye out for this title. It will come out for the Xbox 360, PC and PS3.
