Rocker Seat Massager
Score: 80%
Developer: Buena Vista
Device Type: Miscellaneous

Function:

The Naki Rocker Seat Massager is a padded seat cover that resembles a car seat cover, yet has built-in vibration devices and can connect to a N64 controller. The padding is fairly comfortable, but there is one vibration unit located in the actual seat of the seat cover which can cause some discomfort. This can be remedied by sitting further back so that part is located beneath the knees. This ?fix? might not work as well for those shorter gamers that would have to straighten their legs to move further back.

Performance:

There are two switches on the control mechanism. One selects High or Low vibration speed, while the other one selects Normal or Game. In Normal mode, the Rocker Seat Massager stays on until it is turned off. In Game mode, the Rocker Seat Massager only turns on in response to Rumble PAK signals sent from the N64. If either switch is set to the middle position, either in between High and Low, or between Normal and Game, the unit is turned off.

Basically, there are two plugs that must be attached for installation purposes. You must plug the A/C adapter into the wall and into the control mechanism, then plug the feedback cord into the vibration Pak, and then plug the Pak into the N64 controller. Once this is done, the Rocker Seat Massager is treated much like a Rumble Pak.

Features:
  • Use for Rumble Effects with Games
  • Use as a Back Massager
  • High/Low Vibration Settings
  • No Batteries Required
  • A/C Adapter Included
  • Full 1 Year Warranty

Drawbacks & Problems::

Primarily one problem. The Naki Rocker Seat Massager should have come with a DC adapter so it could be used in the car. Other than that, it?s a pretty nice addition to a racing gamer?s arsenal.
