Dream Cable
Score: 90%
Developer: Mad Catz

Function:
If you?ve been playing your Dreamcast since you got it and you just wish you could find a way to get away from it a little bit, Mad Catz is here to save you! Using the Mad Catz Dream Cable, you can at least get six feet away from it; probably not enough to save your relationship with your significant other, but possibly far enough to save your eyesight a bit and allow you to get more comfortable.

Performance:
The Mad Catz Dream Cable works well with no fuss. Simply plug one end into your Dreamcast, plug your favorite Dreamcast controller into the other end, and viola -- you have mastered using it! (Kinda boosts your self esteem, no?)

Features:
  • Six foot extension
  • One-year warranty

Drawbacks & Problems:
I will admit that I don?t really need an entire six feet additional usually, but when I have friends over and want to let a friend play from the couch across the room, the Dream Cable makes it a snap.

If you?re looking for an extension cable for your Dreamcast, the Mad Catz Dream Cable is an excellent choice. It?s made well, comes from a reputable company (with a one year warranty against manufacturing defects), and gives a full six feet of extra leg room. I test a LOT of hardware. Many things, good as they may be, are tested and then put away. The Dream Cable is one of the few items that instantly became part of my permanent, daily arsenal. Treat yourself. Pick one up.
