DC Extender
Score: 90%
Developer: Nyko
Device Type: Accessory

Function:

Has it happened to you yet? You put that new game into your beloved Dreamcast, close the CD door, grab your favorite controller, turn and quickly run back to your seat, only to reach the ?end-of-your-leash? a little too early and pull your Dreamcast halfway off your entertainment system... or worse? The DC Extender gives you that extra room you need to be able to kick back a bit. So, plug it in and lean back. Scoot back. Hand the controller off to your friend on the other side of the couch and let them give the game a try... without rearranging every time you change players.

Performance:

All you have to do is unplug your controller, plug one end of the Nyko DC Extender in where your controller had been plugged in, and plug the other into your controller. Done. Now, fire and forget. The only thing to remember is that you have a lot more room to move now. Chances are, you?ve been attempting to move the controller further than it will reach already, anyways.

Features:
  • Extra cord for your controller

Drawbacks & Problems::

The simplest products are some of the hardest to decide on. There?s a shopping list of companies that make extension cords for the Dreamcast. However, some of the companies you probably never heard of. And you might never hear of again... My suggestion? Go with a company you?ve heard of -- with a good track record. You don?t find much better track records than Nyko. The Nyko DC Extender does what it?s supposed to -- no frills, no problems. Pick up a DC Extender and put your worries to rest.
