October Road is a now ended series, so it's the perfect time to watch them all at once. If you've read my review of October Road: The Complete First Season, then you know that the First Season is only 6 episodes, so it won't take you long to catch up to the beginning of Season Two.

The end of the First Season left Owen (Brad William Henke) in New York with his troublemaking brother, trying to get over the fact that Ikey (Evan Jones) has been sleeping with his wife, Alison (Elizabeth Bogush). This is a really bad thing because Owen always ends up getting in trouble when his brother's around. Nick (Bryan Greenberg) and Eddie (Geoff Stults) put aside their differences and head out to New York to rescue Owen and bring him back to Knight's Ridge. You can imagine Hannah (Laura Prepon) is upset to see Nick heading to New York again since he didn't come home for 10 years the last time he left. This time though at least Eddie is with him to bring him back. Of course, this leaves Janet (Rebecca Field) in knots. Having just started a relationship with a man that she never thought she was pretty enough for, she's definitely worried about him going off to New York City.

This season definitely has a lot of ups and downs. Obviously there are going to be some major problems between Ikey and Owen over Alison. Owen moves in with the Commander (Tom Berenger), Ronnie (Jonathan Murphy), and Nick. Four men living in one house together is really too many, but they do pretty well. Since Hannah says she has chosen Big Cat (Warren Christie), Nick continues to see Aubrey (Odette Yustman). Aubrey has her own family issues to deal with that come up during the season. Nick tries to help her as best he can.

Sam (Slade Pearce) isn't really happy about Big Cat and his mom together, but he's a good kid so he tries his best to get along, even with Big Cat's horrible sons. Hannah also tries her best to get along with Big Cat's ex-wife. That really doesn't go over so well, though.

Janet and Eddie are now in a relationship, but it's definitely not an easy relationship for sure. Eddie has problems admitting to the world that he's in a relationship with a fat girl. All his life, he's been the player and that's what everyone expects of him. It's quite hard to change what people expect of you overnight, but that's also very hard on Janet. But she really does love Eddie so much that she's as patient as she can be. Lastly, there's still Physical Phil (Jay Paulson) and Pizza Girl (Lindy Booth). Phil's still a shut-in and Pizza Girl is determined to get him out of the house and back into the real world.

So as you know, October Road has been cancelled. Unlike most shows though, we are lucky enough to get a wrap-up to conclude the unfinished storylines. It's a 10 minute episode called Road's End: The Final Chapter. It's a pretty cheesy conclusion that's pretty much the happiest possible ending they could think of, but at least it's a wrap-up. You do finally get to find out who Sam's real father is too. There are only 2 major characters that they don't tell you what happened to, but unfortunately you never do get to find out what Eddie and Hannah's big secret is. There are also two other bonus features, a bloopers reel and a set tour, both of which are quite good.

October Road is a wonderful series that I'm really going to miss. You should definitely go pick both seasons up today!
