Once in the woods, they have the prerequisite swim in the "cold stream." Sorry to inform you there is no nudity, though. Quite shocking for a horror movie, I realize. Anyway, after finding some dead animals hanging in the trees, which would normally scare off most people, they decide it's nothing and split up into their paintball team, Alpha and Beta. Alpha team consists of John (Craig Zimmerman), Lee (Haylie Duff), Benson (Ryan Merriman), and Perry Walters (Danny Nucci). Beta team is Maggie (Mimi Michaels), Mike (Jamison Yang), Paul (Jonathan Slavin), and Basso (Troy Winbush). After a long night of drinking, of course they manage to get up early and head out to hunt each other. Little do they know they are going to be the ones hunted.
While near the woods and in the woods, they see strange things like freaky kids and moving shadows. Of course, only the smart guy Benson thinks anything of it. Walters argues that it's just the other team trying to get to them. Of course, team Beta is completely lost in the woods with no idea where they are. Given that the map they have is completely wrong, they're wandering aimlessly until they find a dilapidated house in the woods. Now anyone who's seen a horror movie before knows that the abandoned house in the woods is the absolute worst place you can go, but I guess they just haven't seen enough horror movies to know to avoid the horror looking house. They are quickly captured and things just go downhill for both teams from here on out. It's a race for survival that they really weren't expecting! It's not a question of who wins the paintball war for a measly pay raise. Now, it's a question of who will survive!
There aren't any special features to enhance your viewing pleasure. Actually, there aren't even any subtitles. Overall, I would say that this is a less graphic version of The Hills Have Eyes. If you enjoy that type of movie, then you should check this out. Personally, I'd recommend catching it on TV or renting it. It's really not something that you're really going to want to watch multiple times, but it's decent for one viewing.
