Conan the Adventurer: Season Two: Part 2 continues the animated barbarian's adventures as he searches for a cure for his family's curse, as well as a way to stop the evil wizard Wrath-Amon from bringing the serpent god Set to Earth.

In these 13 episodes, Conan, his phoenix Needle, the Wasai prince Zula, the agile Jazmine and Greywolf, a wizard, have quite a few adventures that take them not only to new locations, but a few familiar ones as well.

In one episode, the group returns to Jazmine's hometown and learn that her circus friends have found her parents. While Jazmine's reunion with her mother is pleasant, she soon learns that her father isn't exactly what he appears to be. What's worse is that this family secret means she might be able to fall under Wrath-Amon's control.

In another adventure, the party comes across a wizard that appears to be able to reverse the curse of living stone, but the wizard needs a few ingredients first. Conan immediately sets out to find the necessary elements, but Greywolf is wary as the spell doesn't quite make sense to him.

Conan also learns a bit about his grandfather's past when he runs into an old blind man who knew his grandfather when they were young. It is during the old man's story that we learn the origin of the amulet Conan wears around his neck. This same amulet seems to have some extraordinary powers, and could it be that the answer to his family's curse has been on him the entire time?

While one of his family members is resurrected in these episodes, to have them all returned at once would make for a rather sudden ending. Before this collection is over, Conan will be cursed and turn into a serpent man, put on the Mantle of Winds since Falconer has disappeared, and even return to Phenion in order to seek out the Kari Dragon in hopes that he knows how to free the rest of Conan's family.

While Wrath-Amon is the main enemy in the series, several villains keep cropping up. In one episode, the evil witch Mesmira takes the potion that turned Greywolf's siblings into dogs in order to replace one of the four-legged companions in the hopes of taking Greywolf's staff and star-metal claw.

In another episode, Mesmira enchants Conan into falling in love with her. With the barbarian under her command, he not only takes Greywolf's staff, but also Jazmine's throwing stars. Everyone meets up and clashes at the site of one of Wrath-Amon's pyramid-building projects. While Mesmira attempts to use the star-metal with her own powers in order to overthrow Wrath-Amon, Jazmine and Greywolf try and break the spell the witch has over their friend.

The collection ends with the episode "Son of Atlantis." In it, Wrath-Amon uncovers an ancient horn used by the Kinds of Atlantis in order to summon their people for battle. No one with Atlantian blood can resist the call, and Conan's people, the Cimmerians, are the last of that race. Zula is able to keep Conan's tribe from heeding the call with the help of a herd of mammoths, but Conan must find Atlantis and recover an ancient tool in order to stop the effects of the horn. He will not only need his wits, but also Jazmine, Greywolf and the most powerful water wizards in Greywolf's hometown. Even then, he will have to prove himself a true son of Atlantis in order to claim what is rightfully his.

Much like the first season of the show, fans of Conan in general will enjoy this series. It probably won't grab any new viewers, but those that remember it from 20 years ago will enjoy the nostalgia factor that comes with it. These episodes are only the middle slice of the second season and there is at least one more DVD collection left before the show wraps up, but there are a few key episodes in Conan the Adventurer: Season Two: Part 2 that those wanting to watch the show won't want to miss.
