The story takes place in Manhattan where these six friends have melded together as an extended family, and taken up residence to pursue their dreams of life and success in New York City.
Each Friend struggles in their own way with relationships, romances, and careers as they grow from immature 20-year-olds to maturity in their 30s. The romance between Ross and Rachel seems to be the soul of the series as it weaves its on-again/off-again energy into the realms of maturity, marriage and parenthood. The series has been digitally remastered for Blu-ray for your widescreen viewing pleasure. While the series isn't as crisp and clear as you might see on a current Blu-ray release, the conversion is nice and the widescreen is a definite plus.
