Move over Arnold and step aside Sly. Action star Bo Laramie is the next big thing in Hollywood. Fresh off his recent motion picture ?Adrenaline Force,? Laramie is tossed into a life of fame and celebrity that he has never known. His career has nowhere to go but up, but there are things in this world of fame and fashion that he never expected.

After Laramie asks a photographer to stop taking pictures of his young son at a soccer game, he finds that same photographer snapping pictures a few hours later. Angry, he hits the photographer only to find that his van is filled with paparazzi, who taped the whole incident and force Laramie through an anger management class and a $500,000 settlement. As time goes on, the paparazzi take even more photos of Laramie, some by breaking into his yard. When the paparazzi cause an automobile accident that almost kills his wife and puts his son in a coma, Laramie goes on a path of revenge against the paparazzi that nearly ruined his life.

Cole Hauser plays the role of Bo Laramie flawlessly. It?s probably not hard as an actor to play an actor, but drama and suspense can sometimes show that an actor can?t act. Hauser, however, plays wonderfully. As an action movie about an action star, of course, you can expect there will be lots of action in this movie, and indeed there is. It isn?t overly gruesome like some of the action movies of late, and at the same time will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Fox has a habit of putting out a lot of very standard DVD sets. At the same time, however, they produce a lot of good movies, so they can really stand on their own. With the Paparazzi DVD, you get the director?s commentaries, some deleted scenes, as well as a stunt featurette and a making-of featurette. Overall, the movie is much larger a draw than the features of the DVD.

Action movie buffs are sure to eat this one up. If you are sour on action, then you might want to steer clear of Paparazzi. Otherwise, this is one for the collection.
