GameCock Teams Up with THQ

GameCock and THQ recently worked out a deal to allow the larger publishing company to help distribute GameCock's games in the Australian market.

LONDON, UK - September 3rd, 2008 - Gamecock Media Group today announced a distribution agreement with THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI), giving them exclusive rights to license, market and distribute Gamecock Media Group titles across Australia and New Zealand for 2008. The agreement represents a significant step in the distribution of Gamecock Media Group titles and offers a range of titles with strong appeal for both casual and hardcore gamers across all major gaming platforms.

Based in Austin, Texas, Gamecock Media Group was founded by industry cocks Mike Wilson, Harry Miller and Rick Stults who previously made their mark on the video game industry at the helm of Gathering of Developers with an array of blockbuster titles.

THQ Inc. is a leading worldwide developer and publisher of interactive entertainment software. The company develops its products for all popular game systems, personal computers and wireless devices. Headquartered in Los Angeles County, California, THQ sells product through its global network of offices located throughout North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
