I normally skip out on realistic racers, but I really liked the original Test Drive Unlimited. It wasn't the best pure racing game, but had a lot going for it. It took risks, tried a few new things and was a lot of fun. In advance of Test Drive Unlimited 2, developer Eden Games is readying a beta phase. No other details are available outside a link to the beta application, though I'm sure it's a fair guess you'll get a chance to play the game and test out some of it's newer features.
